Beauraing Apparitions Photography Collection
This collection of photographs documents the history and activities related to the Marian apparitions in Beauraing, Belgium that occurred in 1932 and 1933.
John Stokes and Mary's Gardens Collection
he collection includes Stokes' manuscripts, correspondence, research materials, articles, photographs, audio recordings, and ephemera related to his interests in Catholicism, the Blessed Virgin Mary, gardening, names and symbolism of plants and flowers associated with the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mary's Gardens movement, social justice, civil rights, ecumenism, and other related topics.
Marian Artifacts and Realia
he Marian artifacts and realia collection includes scapulars, badges, relics, shrine and pilgrimage souvenirs, and other three-dimensional Catholic ephemera.
Marian Holy Card Collection
The Marian holy card collection contains over 18,000 Catholic holy cards dating from circa 1675 through the present day. Materials in this collection depict the Blessed Virgin Mary, Madonna and Child, events in the life of Jesus and Mary, Marian titles, and Marian shrines.
Marian Library Photograph Collection
This collection includes historical photographs documenting Catholic and Marian topics. The subjects covered include Catholic awards; regional and international Marian shrines, churches, and pilgrimage; Catholic educational programs and events; groups and individuals with a significant Marian dimension; Catholic libraries and museums (including the Marian Library); and other Catholic and Marian organizations.
Marian Library Stamps
The Marian stamps in this collection are part of the Marian Library's stamp collection. This collection covers, in comprehensive fashion, the period going from the beginnings in 1920 to the present. It is, in part, the work of Bro. Eugene Claret, a Swiss Marianist, who organized our existing collection and completed it thanks to the gift of a great number of stamps from his own collection.
Marian Post Card Collection
The Marian postcard digital collection contains photographic and picture postcards documenting Marian shrines around the world. The postcards include images of shrine statues and art works, interiors and exteriors of structures including churches, basilicas, sanctuaries, and grottos, pilgrimages and celebrations at shrines, and other images related to Catholic shrines and churches in over 70 countries. Materials in the collection date from circa 1900 through the present day.
Marian Sheet Music
The Marian Library maintains a collection of over 700 pieces of Marian sheet music, including hymns, Mass settings, and even Christmas carols. The collection includes pieces for voice, piano, organ, even full orchestras, and includes songs in twelve languages dating from the sixteenth century to the present.
Our Lady of Fatima
The Our Lady of Fatima collection contains historical materials related to the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Fatima, Portugal. The collection includes photographs, holy cards, postcards, stamps, sheet music, and other materials related to popular devotion to Our Lady of Fatima during the twentieth century.
